The Contemporary Classic Drums born as a project between John Good and studio legend Russ Kunkel. Contemporary Classic shells are an offshoot of the popular DW Classics line of custom drums. Designed to capture the vintage drum sounds of yesteryear, and so much more, these shells feature a plied poplar core with an African mahógany inner and outer ply. The one inch re-rings help focus the sound. Available in every California Custom Shop size and most finishes, these drums are at home in the studio, but can be used in a wide variety of live musical applications.
This listing is for the drum shell pack only. The stands, snare drum, and cymbals seen in the photos and video are sold separately.
Condition:
This is a brand new kit in it's original boxes. These drums were briefly removed from their packaging for a quick video demo and a photo shoot. The drums heads have slight stick and beater marks due to the demo.
