Beautiful looking and sounding Gretsch Round badge Snare Drum in Champagne Sparkle. 5.5"x 14"
Has all the traditional Gretsch hallmarks: Die Cast Gretsch hoops, 6 ply shell with silver sealer and orange tag, Round badge is present, 6 Streamline lugs, internal tone control muffler.
The original Gretsch throw off strainer was replaced with a Premier/Rogers Strainer so there are two extra holes. The seam was glued down and there is some glue residue (will leave to buyer to clean if desired).
The chrome has some oxidation and pitting, die cast hoops have less than expected wear than most Gretsch die cast hoops which tend to have chrome flake. The drum is slightly oversized so traditional Remo/Evans heads fit snuggly. The snare currently has new Aquarian American Vintage heads on it, which fit well (although heads still don't freely spin). New snare wires.
