Direct-drive pedals offers increased sensitivity through a single piece of linkage between the footboard and the cam. This makes a drummer's foot stroke more controlled, fluid and attuned to their instincts.
With an extended length XF brushed aluminum footboard and low-mass cam, this pedal is a solid performer that rivals much more expensive offerings. A DW-style spring rocker adjustment, lightweight aluminum base plate and the DWSM101Air beater are all standard on both single and double models.
