The standard from which all other DW snare drums are measured, the Collector’s Series Maple is crafted from only the finest hand-selected North American Maple and customized in any California Custom Shop finish and drum hardware color option.
In experimenting with different exotic woods as alternate shell making materials, DW's Custom Shell Shop discovered that in addition to the different tonal qualities inherent in every unique type of wood, alterations in grain direction can also greatly influence sound.
Condition:
This drum was taken out of its factory box, photographed, and then resealed in the original box. It may be removed from the package to be professionally tuned, which may result in some minor stick marks.
