The most popular wood for drum making, maple is a hardwood that produces maximum resonance, projection and attack. Combined with reinforcement hoops, it can produce a more focused sound and is well suited for live and studio applications.
This bass drum belonged to a much larger shell pack (see photo #6). The rest of the drums were purchased separately and this was the one drum that was left over. We are selling it as a brand new orphan bass drum.
Condition:
This is a brand new drum in it's original box. It was briefly removed from the packaging for a quick photo shoot. It was then resealed in the original factory box. There are no beater marks on the batter head.
